Q: How Long will the hotel take to build and when do you anticipate opening? 

Our team has been working on this project since February of 2023. We've identified the land and it is AMAZING! As of 2026 our team was in the final stages of working with key members of the community in Turrialba.

As soon as zoning receives final approval, we will be moving as quickly as possible to begin work with engineers and begin planning utilities and infrastructure around the project.

Q: Are there investors involved in building the resort?

Is this a crowd-funding project?

This is not a crowd-funding project. There are multiple private investors involved in funding and financing the resort. The resort will be financed by investors, and we have additional investor options to build later phases of the projects. Crowd funding projects typically require a goal to be met before a project moves forward and the project depends on receiving financing from their "crowd". If a founding family member is interested in being more involved in the project at an investor level, they are welcome to reach out to our team to find out if there might still be opportunities to join the project.

Our resort and project will be built with or without Founding Family members. By providing this amazing offer to potential founding family members, it allows us to pre-fill and pre-schedule future trips to the resort and better plan for numbers of guests once the resort opens. Founding family members funds may be applied to some costs of the building the resort, but the reason we are doing this offer is to help us market, promote and increase our occupancy once we are open. 

Founding family membership will receive multiple benefits with the resort and with Amazing Vacations Costa Rica. In addition, Founding family members will receive FREE trip planning and Concierge booking services with Amazing Vacations Costa Rica as soon as they signup to become a member. Planning services are available immediately and are valued at $600+. Planning and concierge booking services are also available to friends and family of Founding Family members and we would love to have you visit us in Costa Rica and have us help plan your trip anywhere in Costa Rica that you would like to go to. Amazing Vacations has been running trips for more 6 years and has a solid track record. Our team in charge of funding and building the resort has decades of experience and a solid track record of launching successful resort projects. 

Q: What if I don't want to come to the resort? Can I get a refund?

Founding family members receive free trip planning and concierge booking services for any trip planned by Amazing Vacations Costa Rica. This benefit alone is valued at more than $600. Our team is ready to help you plan a trip for you or help organize, plan and book a group trip anywhere in Costa Rica.

Once the resort opens, in the event you decide you DO NOT want to visit the resort after it is opened, you can opt to receive a $400 trip credit toward a trip planned and booked through Amazing Vacations Costa Rica within Costa Rica. If you decide you'd rather not be a founding family member after you join, you can request a full refund within 60 days of purchase of your membership.

After 60 days from your purchase, you can request to have a $400 credit applied to a future trip booked with Amazing Vacations Costa Rica. If you have questions about the membership benefits, especially the trip planning and concierge booking services, please talk to our team. The amount cannot be applied to airfare, but can be applied to a trip that our team plans and books for you that could go towards lodging at any hotel in Costa Rica, excursions, and transportation. Keep in mind that most trips in Costa Rica that are 7 or more days cost $2,000+ per person and our average weekly trip prices per person as of 2023 ranged between $2,100 - $2,600 (avg price included: lodging, excursions, transportation, guides, driver fees, some food, & taxes - be sure to add 13.5% tax when comparing prices online.).

Q: How do I know the location and resort site in Costa Rica is a place I want to visit?

It's hard to explain without standing on the property and seeing it. The location is just south east of Turrialba, and sits on the side of a mountain less than 2 miles away from our current Headquarters of Amazing Vacations Costa Rica. Several of our team members grew up playing in the surrounding canyons of the property. Turrialba is one of the primary reasons so many people come back over and over again to this beautiful place.

During our November 2023 final scouting trip, our consultant when asked about the location and potential of the project rated it a 10 out of 10 and said that this was quite possibly the most exciting project he has ever seen and had the opportunity to be part of. Click Here for a short video with that conversation. Q: How will the Founding Family Members be Recognized and Featured at the Resort? 

We are building a special wall to feature every name and recognize those individuals who helped us fund this project. Once you signup as a founding family member, you will have an opportunity to list your family name or the name of someone special as a tribute to the power of families. This will be a permanent fixture at the resort meant to inspire and remind every person who visits the resort that we are all one big family.

Q: How Long will I have to redeem and use my Founding Family Member Visit?

You'll be able to come and visit us and use your FREE 4 day 3 Night stay as soon as we have our grand opening. We expect to be able to do a soft opening in 2025 and a full grand opening by the end of 2025. Founding Family members can reserve a date when they join, but until we have a final opening date, please understand that your date may not be available if the rooms are not finished. We encourage you to book early to ensure room availability but members will have early access ahead of the public to reserve your date and rooms. You'll be able to use the stay anytime within 3 years of our grand opening. 

Q: What if I Can't Travel? Can I Gift my Founding Family Member Trip Visit to someone else?

We would love to have you visit us, but you also have the option to assign your visit to someone else. In order to do this, you will need to send a request to our team and we will also reach out to confirm the transfer. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you.
